Installing the DURA Mount

Your new COROS DURA comes with a handlebar mount, anti-theft screw, and multitools for easy installation.

Before installing your DURA mount, choose a location on your handlebars that will not interfere with the safe handling of your bike.
Next, use the larger multitool to remove the screw from the mount.
Open the ring, and insert the appropriately sized protective rubber pad before placing the mount on your handlebars. Use the multitool to secure the mount in place.
Place your DURA horizontally on the mount, and rotate it 90 degrees until it snaps into place vertically.

Tip: For additional security, use the smaller multitool to insert the anti-theft screw on the bottom of the mount.

DURA is compatible with most Garmin-style quarter turn mounts.

What type of mount does DURA use?

Standard Quarter Turn. DURA comes with its own out-front mounting system that fits handlebar sizes from 25.4mm - 31.8mm and is also compatible with Garmin-style quarter turn mounts.

How does the Auto satellite system work?

DURA will automatically select the best satellite setting to both optimize battery life and ensure a strong signal.

Does the touchscreen work with gloves on?

The touchscreen on DURA will work with thin to medium gloves, and gloves with touchscreen-specific designs.

Does the touchscreen work in the rain?

The touchscreen does work in the rain, but can be impacted by heavy rainfall. On DURA within the touchscreen settings, you can choose to turn the settings to only use the touchscreen when on a map/navigation data page.

Are maps on DURA routable?

Create routes directly in the COROS app, or import GPX files from other platforms, and sync to DURA for a complete navigation experience including maps, off-course alerts, and turn directions.

Can I pair my watch or heart rate monitor to broadcast data to DURA?

Yes, the DURA supports heart rate broadcasting, and can pair with both Bluetooth and ANT+ devices that support this feature.

Will DURA work with my smart trainer?

DURA pairs with most smart trainers via Bluetooth and ANT+. Read more about pairing DURA with smart trainers here.

Can DURA work directly with Zwift?

Currently, Zwift will not automatically sync activities to COROS. We are working on an integration with Zwift and hope to complete it before the end of 2024. Until the integration is complete, we recommend users connect their power meters, heart rate monitors, and other sensors both to Zwift and DURA (or your COROS watch) so that data is automatically stored into the COROS app. You can also export .FIT files from Zwift to upload to COROS.

Will I need to have my phone with me for crash detection to work?

Yes, in order to notify your emergency contact via text message, your phone and DURA must be connected with the COROS app running in the background.

How much battery will DURA gain with 1 hour of solar charging?

When sunlight is strong (75000+ lux), 1 hour of solar charging generates an additional 2 hours of ride time.
